Mike Canning has been one of the top real estate agents on the Monterey Peninsula for nearly 20 years, number one in his company (formerly The Mitchell Group, now Sothebys International Realty) and in the top 10 in the United States; his background as a real estate attorney has helped with the creation of a business model delivering a unique level of professionalism. After having lived most recently in Pebble Beach, Mike and his wife, Nancy, chose The Preserve to build their home and have immensely enjoyed life in The Preserve since moving in nearly four years ago. Their two adult children, Nick and Jessica, are frequent visitors, enjoying the golf, pool, dining, weather and serenity every bit as much as their parents.

Stan Lent has been practicing dentistry for almost 30 years in the San Francisco Bay Area; concurrently he has been involved with residential real estate development. While competing in the Stocker Cup at Pebble Beach in May 1999 he discovered the Santa Lucia Preserve. The Lents have been residents of the Preserve since June 2001. The Lents have built and sold three homes in the Preserve, while residing on the ranch. Living, working, and becoming part of the developing community has become a passion.
